Sheikh Abdul Majid's interest in Islamic scholarship began in his early teens, and over time grew into a focused specialization in the fiqh of marriage and the fiqh of Islamic finance — two areas he now teaches side by side, since so many family disputes carry a financial thread running through them.
He completed his formal Islamic education in the UAE, where he studied Islamic Jurisprudence in family matters and Islamic finance, earning Ijaza in both. He also holds Ijaza in counseling and in teaching Fiqh.
He currently serves as a Lecturer at Ahmed Al Futtaim Masjid and as a Fiqh and Tafseer teacher at Al Manar Islamic Centre, alongside 10+ years of study and over 3 years of direct counseling experience.
