Sheikh Abdul Kabir Nasir Al Asfar

Sheikh Abdul Kabir Nasir Al Asfar is a student theologian with a strong interest in Islamic creed (ʿAqīdah), jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Islamic practice. With over a decade of experience in Islamic research, teaching, public speaking, and administration, he has served communities in various capacities including Imam, researcher, translator (Arabic/English), and instructor in jurisprudence and theology. He has held leadership and academic roles such as Pioneer Imam at Al Hijrah College, Director of Daarul-Hijrah Madrasah, Imam of Al Jazeerah Mosque (Unity Estate, Badore, Ajah), Director of Studies at Clear Path Islamic Centre (Lekki, Lagos), and Executive Director of Clear Path Islamic Centre (Freedom Way, Lekki, Lagos).

His learning is rooted in traditional Islamic scholarship, having studied under recognized scholars and received formal ijazah in Usul al-Fiqh, along with certification in Maliki jurisprudence and legal theory. Alongside his Higher National Diploma in Applied Chemistry, he is also an AAOIFI Certified Sharia Auditor and Advisor. His areas of expertise include marriage and family matters, Islamic finance, jurisprudence, creed, and contemporary applications of Islamic law, providing principled and practical guidance grounded in the classical tradition.
